The 900 Blood Pressure Challenge is coming to Becket’s Tea Room (at Peterborough Cathedral) in July.

On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month (excluding Saturday 28th July), a parish nurse from Parish Nursing Ministries UK will be on hand to check your blood pressure for free. It will take just a few minutes, and you’ll be able to get a voucher for a free cup of tea/coffee at the same time.

The first session will be on Thursday 5th July between 10.00am and 5.00pm. The other sessions will be from 10.00am and 1.30pm, with afternoon sessions available on selected days.

The challenge is being held to mark the 900th anniversary of Peterborough Cathedral – following in the footsteps of the monks who lived in Peterborough 900 years ago, who cared for the sick and helped to promote health among the community.

The 900 Blood Pressure Challenge will be free, but donations to Parish Nursing Ministries UK will be welcome.
