A superhuman reading drive at Eye Primary School has launched.

Eye Primary has been working hard to promote reading further this term.

We have had Vivacity's Book Bus come in to visit our EYFS children. Lots of parents chose to sign their children up to be members of the library due to the visit.

After launching the Summer Reading Challenge - Space Chase (Vivacity) we had 77 children completing the reading challenge and had a special assembly to celebrate this achievement.

We have created a 'Reading Superhero' called 'Bookman' which will be launched by the end of term across the school to encourage children to read further - especially those reluctant readers.

We have had two parents from our school attend Reading Buddy training and have seven new Reading Buddies joining our 'Reading Buddy Scheme' this year.  Each year group now has at least one reading buddy which is fantastic.
